Duties & Responsibilities
Oyster Plastics is seeking a dedicated, organised, and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team based in Isithebe, Mandeni . Applicants must be based in or around Isithebe, Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal,
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate records, efficient HR processes, and compliance with applicable South African labour legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HRIS data using SAGE VIP.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job requisitions, advertisements, screening, interviews, background checks, and offers.
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions, probation reviews, and exit processes.
- Assist with training coordination, HRIS updates, and WSP reporting.
- Support performance management processes and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
- Assist with employee relations processes, including disciplinary administration.
- Manage access control, time and attendance, and payroll inputs.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and wellness programmes.
- Provide general HR administration, reporting, and employee query support.
- Ensure all HR information is managed with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in an HR Administration role.
- Applicants must be based in or around Isithebe, Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal.
- Working knowledge of South African labour legislation.
- SAGE VIP experience is essential.
- Experience with Jarrison Time will be advantageous.
- Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
