Reporting to the Senior Manager: Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, HR compliance, and general HR administration while ensuring adherence to labour legislation and organisational policies. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Operations Support the implementation of the Human Resources strategy in alignment with organisational objectives. Provide comprehensive HR generalist support across all areas of the employee lifecycle. Deliver professional and responsive HR services to employees and management. Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes. Arrange interviews, candidate communication, and recruitment administration. Facilitate onboarding and induction programmes for new employees. Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation. Learning & Development Identify organisational training needs and competency requirements. Coordinate employee training and development initiatives. Maintain training records and monitor employee development plans. Support the implementation of learning and development programmes. Performance Management Assist managers and employees with performance management processes. Monitor performance review cycles and documentation. Support initiatives aimed at improving employee performance and development. Provide guidance on performance-related policies and procedures. Employee Relations & Labour Compliance Assist with employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary processes. Support labour relations activities and represent the organisation where required. Assist with matters relating to trade unions and dispute resolution processes. Support preparation for CCMA matters where applicable. Ensure compliance with labour legislation and employment best practices. Employee Wellness & Compliance Coordinate employee wellness initiatives and programmes. Promote a positive and productive working environment. Ensure workplace compliance with all relevant employment legislation. Support health, safety, and employee wellbeing initiatives. HR Administration Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Assist with payroll-related administration and HR information management. Support HR reporting and record-keeping requirements. Utilise HR systems to maintain employee information and generate reports. Ensure confidentiality of employee information at all times. Detail: Role Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field. Experience Minimum 3–5 years' Human Resources generalist experience. Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training. Experience working with HR information systems. Experience using Sage People 300 Payroll will be advantageous. Knowledge & Skills Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices. Strong Human Resources generalist capability. Excellent administrative and organisational skills. High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Sound problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and service-oriented approach.
