HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGER

Tygervalley / Bellville, Cape Town | EE Position

R1,000,000 R1,260,000 per annum (inclusive of benefits), negotiable based on experience, with cell allowance and lucrative performance-based bonus and incentives over and above.

This is a key Human Capital leadership role within a growing and well-established organisation , offering the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and Exco and make a meaningful impact across the people and business agenda.

Our client is looking for an experienced and hands-on Human Capital Manager to take ownership of the HC function and partner closely with the CEO, Exco and leadership team.

The ideal candidate will have gained their HR/HC experience in a similarly operational and people-intensive environment, such as wholesale, logistics, transport, fuel/energy, distribution, manufacturing, FMCG, retail, automotive, agri-processing or a related industry.

One would describe you as someone who is genuinely passionate about Human Capital and the difference it can make to a business . You are driven by the function rather than simply the role, a strong implementer who takes ownership, gets things done and can turn strategy into action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Human Capital function, providing both strategic and hands-on support to the business.
  • Partner with the CEO, Exco and leadership team on people and business priorities.
  • Drive BBBEE, Employment Equity, transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Lead learning and development, talent management and succession planning .
  • Oversee employee relations, engagement, performance and culture.
  • Ensure effective HC policies, governance, compliance and payroll oversight .
  • Lead, develop and empower the HC team.
  • Provide practical, commercially focused HC advice across the organisation.

Qualification, skills and experience required

  • Relevant HR, Human Capital or related degree.
  • 10+ years broad HR/HC Generalist experience , with at least 5 years at senior management level.
  • Strong experience across BBBEE/EE, transformation, employee relations, learning and development, succession planning, performance mana
