Human Capital Business Partner Contract Location: Sandton, Johannesburg Contract: 36 Months Working Model: Hybrid 3 days per week in office Salary: R36,000 per month

The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Human Capital Business Partner to join a well-established corporate organisation on a 36 month contract. This is an opportunity for a seasoned HC professional who enjoys working closely with senior leaders and can comfortably move between strategic business partnering and hands-on operational HR delivery . The successful candidate will act as a trusted people partner to the business, supporting leadership across talent, culture, organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee relations and broader people initiatives. The environment is fast-paced, so we need someone who can build relationships quickly, understand the business and start adding value from the outset.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Partner with senior leaders on people, culture and organisational matters.
  • Provide practical, commercially focused HC advice aligned with business objectives.
  • Support talent management, succession planning, career development and internal mobility initiatives.
  • Identify critical skills, talent risks and development priorities.
  • Support leadership development and overall people-management capability.
  • Drive and support employee engagement, change and culture initiatives.
  • Assist with workforce planning, resourcing strategies and organisational design.
  • Use people data and trends to support business decisions and identify potential risks.
  • Contribute to organisational effectiveness, EVP and future workforce initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, internal policies and HC governance requirements.
  • Support operational HC activities across the employee lifecycle, including payroll approvals, audits, compliance requirements and B-BBEE submissions.

What Were Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or a related field .
  • Postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an HR Business Partner, Human Capital Business Partner or similar role .
  • Strong, proven business partnering and senior stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience across talent management, culture, leadership development and organisational effectiveness .
  • Good knowledge of South African labour legislation, employee relations and HC governance.
  • Ability to influence and confidently engage with senior leadership.
