What you'll do

  • Facilitate comprehensive onboarding and induction programmes to ensure seamless integration of new employees.
  • Accurately maintain and update employee records and HR information systems in a timely manner.
  • Provide efficient administrative support across HR functions, including documentation, compliance, and process optimisation.
  • Effectively communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee guidelines to all staff members.
  • Coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives, wellness programmes, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Organise and schedule training and development activities to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Compile and analyse HR reports and workforce data to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant employment legislation at all times.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Manage employee enquiries confidentially and escalate complex issues to appropriate HR specialists.

What you bring

  • Diploma in Human Resources, or equivalent - highly essential.
  • Grade 12, National Senior Certificate essential
  • Little to no experience in an administrative role with exposure to Human Resources essential
  • Strong knowledge of labour legislation including POPI Act compliance
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record management
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments and external stakeholders
