  • We are seeking an experienced HR Practitioner to provide comprehensive HR support to our Growth Business Unit based in Westville.
  • The purpose of the role is to deliver effective, compliant, and value-adding HR services that support operational and strategic business objectives.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management
  • Valid Code EB driver's licence and own vehicle
  • 3–5 years' experience in a generalist HR role at a Practitioner level, supporting sales, marketing, commercial teams.

Duties & Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by partnering with leaders to align HR solutions to business objectives.
  • Provide trusted people-related advice and support.

Employee Relations

  • Advise and support line management on disciplinary, grievance, and misconduct processes
  • Investigate and manage employee relations cases in line with legislation and company policy
  • Represent the organisation at CCMA and Bargaining Council proceedings

Resourcing

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including approvals, advertising, interviews, and offers
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and timely placement of vacancies
  • Oversee onboarding and employment terminations

Talent & Performance Management

  • Support line managers on performance management and talent review processes
  • Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and consistency reviews
  • Consolidate performance outcomes and support employment equity initiatives

Diversity, Belonging & Inclusion

  • Implement and drive the DEIB roadmap by embedding inclusive practices and facilitating diversity and inclusion circles.
  • Partner with leaders and employees to support change management initiatives that promote equitable, respectful and high-performance workplace culture.

Employment Equity

  • Drive the implementation and monitoring of the Employment Equity plan in line with legislative requirements and business objectives.

Organisational Effectiveness

  • Maintain accurate organisational structures on SAP and guide stakeholders on structure changes.
  • Drive change management initiatives aligned to business objectives

Training & Development

  • Co-ordinate training and development interventions in partnership with the learning team.
  • Drive individual development plans for key talent employees

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Manage IOD and minor injury processes and reporting
  • Support risk management and statutory compliance requirements

HR Administration

  • Ensure accurate capture and integrity of HR data across systems
  • Manage exits, audits, and monthly HR reporting
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, labour legislation, and employee matters

Reporting & Insights

  • Draft reports against target metrics and present to stakeholders
  • Ensure data provides valuable insights that support stakeholders in making informed people decisions.
  • Provide recommendations to mitigate potential risks and / or support efficiency, culture, best practice.
