• Manage employee relations, including absenteeism, timekeeping, misconduct, grievances, conflict and disciplinary matters. • Ensure disciplinary, incapacity and termination processes are handled consistently and in accordance with applicable labour legislation. • Manage recruitment and selection, including job descriptions, advertising, screening, interviews, reference checks and onboarding. • Implement and manage structured 30-, 60- and 90-day probation reviews. • Develop and administer performance management processes, including KPAs, targets, quality and attendance standards. • Identify and coordinate training and development requirements across factory, installation and management teams. • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, leave and attendance records, UIF and COIDA documentation and payroll inputs. • Ensure HR policies, procedures and documentation remain compliant with applicable legislation. • Provide management with regular HR reporting and identify workforce trends, problem areas and recommended interventions. • Work closely with production, factory and installation management to understand and address people-related issues affecting operational performance. • Manage the company's subcontractor compliance process, including required documentation, safety requirements, site rules, quality standards and performance monitoring. • Support a positive, disciplined and productive workplace culture. Minimum Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or a related field. • 37 years' HR experience , preferably in a manufacturing, joinery, construction, engineering, factory, logistics or similar operational environment. • Proven experience in employee and labour relations. • Practical experience with disciplinary procedures and grievance management. • Experience in recruitment and selection, performance management and training and development. • Strong working knowledge of the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development legislation, UIF, COIDA, OHS and POPIA . • Strong administrative and organisational skills. • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities. • Proficiency in English; the ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans will be advantageous.
