N6 Human Resource Management Student / Recent Graduate
- Location : Bellville
- Duration: 18-month practical training / internship opportunity
Our client is looking for a recently completed N6 Human Resource Management student who requires practical workplace experience to complete their qualification.
This is an excellent opportunity for a young, energetic and detail-orientated person who has a genuine interest in Human Resources and Labour Relations, and who is eager to learn in a practical HR consulting environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with our HR Business Partners and consultants, assisting with HR administration, clerical support and day-to-day HR-related duties across various client matters.
Purpose of the Internship
The internship is designed to provide practical workplace exposure to HR administration, employee relations support, recruitment administration, documentation, record keeping and general HR consulting support. The role is administrative in nature, but will give the intern exposure to a wide range of HR and labour relations matters.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general HR administration, filing and record keeping;
- Prepare, update and format employee records, HR letters, forms, reports and templates;
- Assist with recruitment administration, interview packs and candidate communication;
- Assist with onboarding documentation, training records and compliance documents;
- Assist with disciplinary, grievance, incapacity and consultation documentation where required;
- Take minutes during meetings where required;
- Update HR trackers, spreadsheets and client files accurately;
- Provide clerical and administrative support to HR Business Partners and consultants;
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all employee and client matters;
- Perform other reasonable HR administrative duties as required.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Recently completed N6 in Human Resource Management;
- Must require practical workplace exposure / in-service training to complete the National Diploma;
- Good computer literacy, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Good administrative and organisational skills;
- Willingness to learn, take instruction and ask questions where clarity is needed;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- A keen interest in Human Resources, Labour Relations and employment practices.
