A growing organisation in the mining industry is looking for an experienced, professional, and solutions-driven HR Consultant to join their new office in Waterfall.

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational HR support, helping the organisation attract, develop, retain, and manage its people while ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation and industry standards. Key Responsibilities • Provide HR advice, guidance, and support to management and employees. • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices. • Support recruitment, selection, onboarding, and talent management processes. • Manage employee relations and assist with conflict resolution. • Support performance management and employee development initiatives. • Coordinate learning, training, and development programmes. • Provide support on compensation and employee benefits matters. • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare HR reports and workforce insights. • Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and relevant industry requirements. • Assist management with workforce planning and organisational development. • Support change management and employee engagement initiatives. • Provide guidance on HR-related matters and workplace policies. • Assist with general HR administration and projects as required. Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in an HR role, preferably within the mining industry.
  • Mining industry experience will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and consulting skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HR systems will be advantageous.
  • Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
  • Professional HR certification or registration will be advantageous.
