We are seeking a versatile, dynamic HR & Administrator to join our team. Reporting directly to CEO, this hybrid role is vital for driving both internal people management and external business operations. They will take full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, employee relations, and payroll administration , while actively supporting vital business growth commercial collections, tendering processes, and client relationship management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Draft and post job advertisements across portals within 72 hours of formal requests
- Screen and shortlist candidates, conducting thorough background and criminal checks
- Coordinate and conduct interviews to fill open vacancies within a target 30-day timeframe
- Manage onboarding processes, ensuring all contracts, starter files and PPE are successfully issued on day one.
- Maintain digital and physical records for personnel files, policy manuals and employee leave.
- Manage timekeeping compliance and adress discrepancies via established disciplinary or counseling channels.
- Enforce strict adherence to the Souh African Labour Relations Act (LRA), facilitating PWP, misconduct and Section 189 processes
- Support the Training Oficer with Skills Development planning , and coordinate Employement Equity reporting for SETA submissions
- Liaise with External payroll providers to ensure all staff are paid accurately and on time
- Retrive and verify sll timesheets and clock-in records timeously to prevent processing delays
- Resolve all staff payroll queries and discrepancies within a strict 24-hour turnaround window
- Compile and report monthly disciplinary statistics directly to the CEO
- Facilitate and coordinate the companys end-to-end tendering and bid submission processes
- Initiate debt collection processes based on executive directives to maintain healthy cash flows
- Manage collections on handed-over accounts alongside external legal and debt service providers
- Prepare weekly feedback reports tracking bad debts and collection progress for internal stakeholders
- Nurture and manage corporate relationships with commercial clients and key external partners
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator , Generalist or Officer with exposure to payroll cordination and commercial administration
- Solid understanding of South African Labor Laws, including the Labour Relatons Act (LRA) , Employment Equity (EE), and SETA submissions
- Stronf recruitment skills (sourcing, interviewing, vetting), basic debt collection exposure, and experience managing corporate tender documents
- High level of confidentiality, strong reporting skills directly to executive management (CEO) and excellent conflict resolution abilities
