- Implement various HR processes and policies by providing day-to-day HR support and solutions to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain employees to achieve business objectives in line with business needs, overarching HR plans/ policies, best practices and current legislation.
What you'll own
- Support Managers in managing Conflict Management in the workplace.
- Handle all Grievances from employees and follow-through.
- Where necessary escalate certain cases to the ER manager.
- Ensure that you the ER manager is fully aware of the cases you are handling so that he can support.
- Act as a trusted HR business partner and consultant, providing advice across HR disciplines to managers, employees, and colleagues at the local level.
- Partner with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, and labour laws.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for organizational culture and values, driving recognition, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Implement organizational change initiatives e.g., reorganizations, redundancies, redeployment to support business strategy, ensuring risk mitigation while balancing employee welfare and business objectives.
- Support cultural change and communication programs.
- Support managers in establishing clear and meaningful KPIs and track HR service effectiveness through analytics and improvement initiatives.
- Support managers through the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, contracts, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Conduct necessary checks before the appointment of new talent.
- Ensure tailored recruitment and talent management activities via Avature and MTW to attract, select, and retain talent for current and future business needs.
- Work through the HR Coordinator to manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including documentation, induction programs, and system access setup.
- Collaborate with managers and relevant departments to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and exiting employees.
- Ensure delivery of annual performance and salary review processes and that these are aligned with global/regional standards and timelines.
- Support Learning & Development to facilitate LEADS Reviews, preparatory talks, and performance calibration meetings in line with agreed principles.
- Partner with Learning & Development to deliver certified programs and development solutions that build organizational capability and leadership strength.
- Drive, together with Learning & Development, employee career development initiatives to retain key talent and strengthen succession pipelines.
- Lead the planning and delivery of employee wellbeing calendar and Adhoc initiatives
- Manage the full lifecycle including stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, budgeting, and post-implementation reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with HRBPs, and the business to ensure effective messaging and adoption
- Provide insights, reporting and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
- Stay current with HR industry developments and labour legislation.
- Assist in preparing HR documentation, reports, and evidence required for internal and external audits including CRISP.
- Collaborate with auditors and relevant stakeholders to provide accurate and timely information during audit processes.
- Identify gaps and risks highlighted during audits and support corrective action plans to ensure compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee data and HR records throughout the audit process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by implementing recommendations from audit findings to strengthen HR governance.
- Provide monthly HR reports related to ER, Employee Engagement, L&D, Talent, and Performance.
- Deliver actionable insights through HR dashboards and analytics e.g., attrition, absenteeism, engagement, diversity.
- Vendor management as per internal DHL processes and expectations
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Industrial Psychology, or related.
- Min 4 years' experience across all key aspects of HR processes including Talent, C&B, ER/IR, L&D, Engagement, etc.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR policies, and organizational development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Able to travel nationally; valid driver's license
