Job Purpose
The HR Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources function, with a particular focus on Industrial Relations (IR). The role involves maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR processes, assisting with employee relations matters, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labour legislation.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.
Maintain and update HR databases, spreadsheets, and employee information.
Assist with leave, attendance, and payroll-related administration.
Respond to employee HR-related queries and provide appropriate support.
Prepare HR reports and documentation as required.
Ensure all HR records are handled confidentially and in accordance with company policies.
Industrial Relations
Provide administrative support in disciplinary and grievance processes.
Assist with the preparation of notices, charges, hearing documentation, and related correspondence.
Coordinate disciplinary hearings, grievance meetings, and other employee relations processes.
Maintain accurate records of disciplinary and grievance matters.
Assist HR management with investigations into employee complaints and workplace issues.
Support the implementation and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
Assist with employee consultations and conflict-resolution processes.
Ensure IR documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
Keep up to date with relevant labour legislation and HR/IR best practices.
Compliance and Reporting
Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws and company policies.
