Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor Start Date: 2025-08-20 - 2026-08-31 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB000612 Sectors: Boutique Hotel Location: Western Cape , Stellenbosch Salary: (Market related, Negotiable) Brief: boutique hotel|hotel housekeeping|housekeeping supervisor|stellenbosch|western cape|winelands Luxury Hotel based in Stellenbosch is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to inspect the cleanliness and the appearance of guest accommodation , including all outside areas in and around units, all public spaces and see that all personnel performing housekeeping operations carry out their assignments in accordance with established standards. Detail: Duties: Inspects all rooms after they have been cleaned to ensure that all hotel policies and standards have been met Approves rooms for occupancy and ensures room is 100% Notifies Maintenance of any needed repairs in all guest rooms Inspects all vacant ready rooms at the beginning of the day for condition and possible occupancy Lists and itemizes lost and found items. Returns items to guests in accordance with the hotel's standards Reports and delivers valuables found to Reception for safekeeping Monitors stock levels of all amenities and advises Manager when necessary to order Practice safe working conditions under the Occupational Safety and Health Monitors time housekeepers are taking to clean guest rooms and ensures that rooms are ready on time Ensures all stayover rooms are cleaned timeously All other duties assigned as and when required Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality will be an advantage A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role in a 4/5* luxury property Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal High level of physical endurance Must be computer literate Leadership experience Strong training skills and experience Effective rostering abilities Knowledgeable with the controlling of expenses and inventories Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure show more...
