Start free — we apply for you →- A luxury safari lodge in the Sabi Sands region is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping & Laundry Manager to lead the housekeeping and laundry departments.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort while leading and developing the housekeeping team. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with a passion for service excellence and attention to detail.
REQUIREMENT
- RSA ID and legal residence essential
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a Housekeeping Management role within a luxury lodge or hotel
- Proven experience managing housekeeping and laundry operations
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- Strong administration and stock control experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high service standards

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet exceptional presentation standards
- Supervise, train, and develop housekeeping staff
- Manage linen, uniforms, guest laundry, and housekeeping supplies
- Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective action where required
- Monitor stock levels and control departmental costs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Work closely with other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience
PACKAGE
- R18,000 – R22,000 per month DOE
- Live-in accommodation provided
