Start free — we apply for you →REQUIREMENTS: - Proven experience working in a private residence, preferably in a similar high-end household - Exceptional cleaning skills and high standards of cleanliness - Confident cooking skills and experience preparing meals - Strong knowledge of laundry, ironing and linen care - Experience with household stock control, inventory and replenishment of supplies - Fit, energetic and able to manage physically demanding duties - No older than 50 years - Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills - Trustworthy, discreet, reliable and self-motivated - Able to work independently and take initiative - Stable employment history with strong career longevity - Contactable references from previous private household employers - No gender preference
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain exceptional cleanliness and order throughout the residence - Carry out daily cleaning and periodic deep cleaning - Care for furniture, surfaces, fabrics and delicate items - Manage laundry, ironing and linen care - Plan and prepare meals as required - Keep the kitchen, pantry, fridge and storage areas clean and organised - Monitor household and kitchen stock levels and arrange replenishment - Maintain shopping lists and inventory records - Ensure food is stored correctly and kitchen hygiene standards are maintained - Assist with pet areas and pet care where required - Identify and report maintenance issues to the House Manager - Anticipate household needs and ensure the home runs smoothly
PACKAGE: - Salary: R10,000 – R12,000 per month - Live-out position
LOCATION: Green Point – Cape Town, Western Cape
