- Minimum 5 years procurement/purchasing experience, with solid management-level experience
- Current or recent procurement experience within a hotel environment is essential
- Proven experience managing procurement within a large, busy and high-volume hospitality operation
- Strong understanding of hotel purchasing processes, stock control and departmental requirements
- Experience purchasing across F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and general hotel operations
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, supplier sourcing, vendor management and procurement controls
- Proven experience negotiating supplier contracts, pricing and service-level agreements
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with demonstrated cost-saving and cost-control achievements
- Experience with operational purchasing, Capex and project-related procurement
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading and developing a procurement/purchasing team
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Management or a related field advantageous
