We're seeking a reliable Housekeeping General Cleaner to join the housekeeping team and ensure clean, safe, and welcoming environments throughout the hotel. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Maintenance
• Clean and maintain public areas, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces according to hotel standards. • Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to ensure hygiene and presentation. • Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste. Health, Safety & Hygiene
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety procedures while performing duties. • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely according to instructions. • Report any hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor. Guest Service & Support
• Assist housekeeping and other departments as needed to maintain a positive guest experience. • Ensure areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times. Team Collaboration
• Work closely with other housekeeping staff to ensure smooth daily operations. • Support the housekeeping supervisor in completing tasks efficiently. Inventory Assistance
- Monitor cleaning supply levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Handle equipment and supplies with care to minimize loss or damage.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate required.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous but not essential.
Preferred Skills
- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues.
