We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper & Receptionist All-Rounder to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, has exceptionally high standards and is comfortable assisting with both housekeeping and front-desk responsibilities.
What we’re looking for
Previous housekeeping and/or hospitality experience
Relevant hospitality, housekeeping or reception qualifications/certificates
Extremely detail-oriented — a perfectionist when it comes to cleanliness and presentation
Hardworking, proactive and able to work without constant supervision
Professional, friendly and confident when dealing with guests
Strong communication and customer service skills
Organised and able to multitask
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Comfortable assisting wherever needed within the property
Must have valid South African work eligibility
Must be able to provide references
Responsibilities include
Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard
Making beds, changing linen and maintaining immaculate bathrooms
Checking rooms before guest arrival
Welcoming and assisting guests
Managing check-ins and check-outs
Responding to guest enquiries
Answering calls and messages
Assisting with bookings and basic administration
Monitoring stock, linen and housekeeping supplies
Reporting maintenance issues
Keeping reception and communal areas clean and presentable
Supporting the day-to-day running of the property
We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and gets it done. You should notice the small details, care about presentation and take genuine pride in creating an excellent guest experience.
