Silver Forest Boutique Hotel, Spa & 3 Kitch3ns Restaurant in Somerset West is looking for an experienced, confident and energetic Restaurant & Hotel Supervisor to join our team as an Ambassador Level 2.
This is a hands-on hospitality role for someone who loves being on the floor, leading by example and making sure every guest receives warm, professional and efficient service.
You will work across our restaurant and boutique hotel operation, supporting management and taking responsibility for shifts when required.
THE ROLE INCLUDES
- Supervisising restaurant service and leading the floor
- Opening and closing shifts
- Allocating sections and directing the Ambassador team
- Ensuring excellent guest service from arrival to departure
- Handling guest queries and resolving problems confidently
- Checking restaurant, lounge and guest areas are presented perfectly
- Supporting breakfast, lunch and dinner service
- Assisting with hotel guests, check-ins and general guest requirements
- Managing bookings and understanding Dineplan
- Working with POS systems, cash-ups and shift procedures
- Ensuring staff follow Silver Forest standards and SOPs
- Supporting events, functions and busy service periods
- Training and developing junior Ambassadors
- Communicating effectively with Kitchen, Spa, Rooms and Management
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You must already have good restaurant or hotel supervisory experience.
We are looking for someone who is

- Excellent with guests
- Confident supervising a restaurant floor
- Organised, reliable and punctual
- Calm under pressure
- Well presented with excellent communication skills
- Able to spot problems before they become problems
- Comfortable holding team members accountable to standards
- Commercially aware and understands the importance of sales, upselling and controlling losses
- Able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
This is not a position for someone who wants to stand back and supervise others working.

AMBASSADOR LEVEL 2
This role sits above our entry-level Ambassador position and carries additional responsibility for leadership, standards, guest experience and shift supervision.
We are looking for someone with the potential to grow further within our hospitality business.
