We are looking for a responsible, technically minded and client-focused Repair Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, manufacturing, testing and administration of hearing aids, while ensuring excellent service to clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Repair and manufacture allocated hearing aids on a daily basis
- Handle client repairs, product queries, technical queries and general client enquiries professionally
- An understanding of hearing aid products and services will be advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure, with strict turnaround times
- Good judgement, decision-making skills and attention to details
- Good trouble-shooting skills
- Accurately & timeously complete forms, quotes, administration, stock control and invoicing documentation
- Working hours: Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm
- Will also be required to work +-1 Saturday per month (half day) - rotational roster
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric certificate
- Technical certification / qualification
- Minimum 2 - 3 years work experience in similar / technical environment
