Detail: Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Safety Management, Environmental Health, or related field. SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent Health and Safety qualification. Minimum 5 years' Health and Safety management experience within a manufacturing environment. Automotive industry experience will be highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and relevant South African legislation. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities but not limited to: Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety policies, procedures, and systems. Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventative actions. Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections. Drive a strong safety culture through training, coaching, and employee engagement. Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders. Prepare and present HSE performance reports to management. Lead emergency preparedness and response initiatives.
