This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage and delivery of products across national distribution network while driving continuous improvement, operational excellence and exceptional customer service . The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in developing scalable logistics solutions that support the company's growth. Detail: Duties: Develop and execute the company's logistics strategy in line with business objectives. Lead all warehousing, inventory, transport and distribution operations across multiple locations. Drive improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, service levels and operational performance. Ensure accurate inventory management and stock integrity through robust warehouse controls. Manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight partners and transport contracts. Monitor and improve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance. Establish and report on key logistics KPIs and operational dashboards. Identify opportunities for process optimisation. Manage compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies and industry best practices. Develop warehouse layouts, storage strategies and capacity planning initiatives. Lead business continuity planning for logistics operations. Drive warehouse automation and technology improvements, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Prepare and manage logistics budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities. Build, coach and develop high-performing logistics teams. Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Customer Experience and Service departments to ensure seamless order fulfilment. Requirements: Relevant Degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering Postgraduate qualification or (MBA will be an advantage) At least 5 – 7 years warehouse management experience At least 5+ years in a senior management or executive logistics role. Proven experience managing large warehouse and distribution operations. Experience managing national transport and distribution networks. Strong financial and commercial acumen. Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems. Advanced Excel and reporting skills; Power BI experience will be advantageous.
