Job Title: Head of Manufacturing Start Date: 2026-06-18 - 2026-08-18 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB000259 Sectors: Manufacturing Location: Eastern Cape , Port Elizabeth Salary: R1 Million - R1.6 Million CTC Brief: A Well know Manufacturing concern in their field is seeking a Head of Manufacturing for their P.E. facility - An individual highly skilled in Budgeting, Strategic Planning, Business Development, Supply Chain Management and Management - STRONG in Operations! Purpose: To execute the Operations strategy on site, provide leadership and direction in the management of the Site to enable an aligned focus to meet business requirements while maintaining legal compliance and a safe working environment. Educational Qualifications & Personal Attributes: Relevant Business Degree preferably in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering Adaptability & Flexibility Energetic, goal driven individual with a high customer service orientation Strategic Planning Customer insight and focus Business Acumen to transform opportunities into bottom line impact Change leadership Strategic Planning Decisiveness Skill, Knowledge and Experience: At least 5 years in senior management within an operational environment Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems and preferably experienced an accreditation process Advanced level of computer literacy Ability to manage operations at a strategic level Coaching & developing others Exceptional teamwork Safety Focus Solution Generation and Problem Solving Communication and influence Relationship building and networking Detail: KPA's: Provide leadership and direction in the management of the Production, Logistics, Process Engineering, Project Management and Quality Control, including maintenance to ensure customer requirements are efficiently achieved. Responsible for the maintenance and measurement of the company SHERQ Management system. Develop and implement strategic plan initiatives for Operations. To manage all project plans for production expansion and process changes. Lead and maintain the effective people development and leadership process within Operations and to create a safe working culture. Determine and approve five-year and short term budget expenditure and capital expenditure requirements in operations and site services to ensure effective financial control. Set aligned operational goals and targets and optimise resources and processes within operations to achieve and improve targets and goals.
