As the Head of Information Systems, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing multiple technology functions while acting as the critical link between business and technology.
Key responsibilities include
• Developing and executing the organisation's IT strategy and roadmap • Aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and growth plans • Advising executive leadership on technology opportunities, risks, and investments • Leading enterprise technology delivery and systems integration initiatives • Driving automation, operational efficiency, and service excellence • Overseeing software delivery, architecture standards, and technology governance • Ensuring stability, resilience, and performance of critical business systems • Managing data governance, information management, reporting, and analytics oversight • Leading cyber security, disaster recovery, risk management, and compliance initiatives • Managing technology vendors, outsourced partners, and service providers • Taking ownership of technology budgets and investment planning • Building, mentoring, and developing multidisciplinary technology teams • Participating in executive decision-making and strategic business planning This opportunity offers exposure to executive leadership, meaningful business impact, and the chance to influence technology strategy across a complex environment.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in information systems or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar senior technology leadership role
- Strong experience managing complex technology environments
- Proven success driving automation and system integration initiatives
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior executive stakeholders
- Strong vendor and service provider management experience
- Solid understanding of technology architecture, infrastructure, and integrations
- Cloud environment experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with data governance and information management frameworks advantageous
- Experience managing cyber security, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives advantageous
- Experience within regulated financial services environments advantageous
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and people management capabilities
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a related field
