This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on developing robust engineering systems, driving best practice and leading multidisciplinary technical support teams within a complex product development environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring engineering processes, governance frameworks and product support systems enable the successful delivery of innovative, high-quality products. Key Responsibilities Reporting into the senior engineering leadership team, your responsibilities will include: Providing strategic leadership to a specialised engineering support function. Developing and improving engineering governance, policies and technical standards. Driving best practice across engineering configuration, product data and lifecycle management. Leading engineering change and technical review processes. Supporting engineering teams throughout the complete product development lifecycle. Developing systems that improve engineering quality, compliance and operational efficiency. Driving continuous improvement initiatives across engineering support functions. Leading and mentoring technical specialists while developing future capability within the team. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Project teams to ensure successful product delivery. Identifying opportunities to improve engineering systems, workflows and governance across the business. Providing strategic guidance to senior management on engineering compliance, risks and continuous improvement initiatives. Detail: Minimum Requirements: BEng degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or related Engineering discipline. Minimum of 7 years' experience within a complex engineering product development environment. Demonstrated experience leading engineering systems, governance or technical support functions. Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle management, engineering change control and configuration principles. Experience implementing engineering processes, standards and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and people management experience. Excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills. Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), engineering governance systems, engineering change processes or systems engineering methodologies will be highly advantageous.
