Start free — we apply for you →REQUIREMENTS: - Proven experience as a Head Guide or senior Field Guide - Strong luxury lodge and safari guiding experience - Relevant FGASA qualifications - Strong knowledge of wildlife, ecology and conservation - Excellent guest relations and communication skills - Proven leadership and team management ability - Professional, confident and safety conscious - Valid Driver's Licence essential - First Aid qualification advantageous - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and under pressure - Flexible and willing to assist with lodge operations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead and manage the guiding team - Conduct professional guided safari activities - Ensure exceptional and informative guest experiences - Maintain guest safety and professional guiding standards - Coordinate daily guiding operations and activities - Assist with training and development of guides - Maintain strong communication between guides, management and lodge departments - Manage guest preferences and special requests - Ensure guiding equipment and vehicles are maintained - Assist with guest hosting and lodge activities when required - Address operational challenges and implement solutions - Lead by example and maintain high service standards
PACKAGE: - Salary: R15,000 R25,000 per month, depending on experience - Live-in accommodation and meals to be discussed LOCATION: Louis Trichardt Limpopo COUPLE OPPORTUNITY: Couples will be considered where one person fills the Head Guide position and the other takes the Reservationist position.
