- A relevant tertiary qualification preferably a B degree or National Diploma
- 8 years' relevant experience with 3 years supervisory experience
- Proficient Computer Literacy: MS Office
- Incumbent must be prepared to work outside of normal working hours and at various geographic locations throughout the City
- Drivers licence with reliable own vehicle.
Key Performance Areas
- Manages, co-ordinates and administers the Community, Arts & Culture Development functions, operations and services within a sub-area
- Manages and develops the human resources in the sub area
- Ensures programme delivery through the implementation of programmes related to: Early Childhood Development ECD, Youth Development, Reducing Rough Sleepers, Substance Abuse, Gender, Vulnerable Groups
- Manages and maintains the City's facilities and assets within the area
- Plans, manages and controls the use of financial resources assigned to the branch
- Manages projects, throughout the design, implementation and evaluation phase
- Manages and maintains effective internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Manages the administration related to the area of control
