Introduction

The HAUS Showroom Stock Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all showrooms nationally maintain the right stock, in the right quantities, at the right time.

The role is heavily focused on stock replenishment, inventory optimisation, demand analysis and stock availability, ensuring showroom requirements are accurately translated into replenishment requirements while balancing availability against excess and aged inventory.

The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, analytical and commercially minded, with advanced Excel capability and the ability to work confidently with large volumes of data.

The role requires someone who can identify stock requirements proactively, investigate variances, resolve replenishment issues and provide accurate, data-driven recommendations to improve stock availability and inventory efficiency across the showroom network.

Advanced Excel capability is essential to the role.

The individual will be expected to work confidently with large and complex datasets and use Excel to analyse information, identify trends, build planning tools and support decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. National Stock Replenishment

  • Manage and coordinate national showroom stock replenishment on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Analyse showroom stock levels, sales, stock movements and demand to determine replenishment requirements.
  • Generate and maintain replenishment recommendations in line with agreed processes.
  • Ensure showrooms receive appropriate stock quantities based on demand, stockholding targets and product availability.
  • Monitor stock availability and identify potential out-of-stock risks before they impact showroom performance.
  • Balance replenishment requirements across multiple showrooms. Monitor stock transfers between showrooms where appropriate to optimise existing inventory.
  • Liaise with warehouses, distribution centres, and showroom teams to resolve stock availability issues.
  • Ensure replenishment is aligned with agreed stock levels, weeks of cover, safety stock and service-level requirements.

B. Demand & Inventory Analysis

  • Analyse historical sales and stock data to identify demand patterns and replenishment trends.
  • Monitor product-level and showroom-level demand to support accurate stock allocation.
  • Identify slow-moving, excess, aged and obsolete stock.
  • Highlight stock imbalances and recommend corrective action.
  • Analyse stock cover and inventory levels across the showroom network.
  • Monitor product availability and identify recurring supply or replenishment issues.
  • Investigate discrepancies between forecast demand, actual sales and stock availability.

C. Stock Performance Monitoring

  • Produce regular reports on showroom stock levels, stock availability and replenishment performance.
  • Monitor key inventory measures, including:
  • Stock availability
  • Out-of-stock levels
  • Stock cover / weeks of supply
  • Excess stock
  • Inventory value
  • Sales versus stockholding
  • Identify trends and exceptions requiring management attention.

D. Excel & Data Management

Key Excel requirements include

  • Advanced use of Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts.
  • Advanced formulas including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF/IFS and nested formulas.
  • Data cleansing, manipulation and validation.
  • Conditional formatting and exception reporting.
  • Building and maintaining planning models and replenishment templates.
  • Developing automated or semi-automated reporting solutions.
  • Working with large datasets while maintaining data accuracy.
  • Identifying and correcting data anomalies and discrepancies.
  • Using Excel to model stock requirements, stock cover and replenishment scenarios.
  • Experience with Power Query and/or Power Pivot would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

E. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with showroom managers and teams to understand stock requirements and availability challenges.
  • Partner with warehouse/distribution teams to coordinate replenishment.
  • Communicate stock risks and opportunities clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow up on outstanding replenishment actions to ensure issues are resolved.

Desired Experience & Qualification

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • 2–5 years' experience in stock planning, replenishment, inventory management, merchandise planning or supply chain.
  • Strong experience working with large volumes of stock and sales data.
  • Demonstrated experience in stock replenishment and inventory optimisation.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to identify trends, exceptions and potential stock risks.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting/replenishment deadlines.

Advantageous

  • Experience managing stock across a multi-site/showroom network.
  • Retail, wholesale, furniture, consumer goods or similar industry experience.
  • Experience with ERP, merchandise planning or inventory management systems.
  • Power Query / Power Pivot experience.
  • Experience developing automated Excel reports or planning models.
  • Understanding of forecasting, safety stock, lead times and inventory optimisation.
