- This is a remote position.
- Optimising operational efficiency within a busy medical accounts department, this fully remote part-time position supports financial processing and daily accounting duties. You will maintain precise transaction records, ensure seamless reconciliations, and drive process improvements using artificial intelligence.
- Working 20 hours per week spread over 5 days, this position provides support to the Finance Manager and wider team.
- This role involves inputting supplier invoices, allocating payments, managing cash sheet entries, assisting with monthly payroll, and leveraging AI tools to enhance accounts department workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and process supplier invoices with high accuracy.
- Allocate payments and receipts while reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
- Manage daily cash sheet entry and carry out regular reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager and wider team to execute general finance tasks.
- Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliation tasks as required.
- Support monthly payroll processing and assist with payroll data entry.
- Implement and utilise AI tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the accounts department.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or finance administration role.
- Strong focus on AI-supported finance tasks and practical experience in AI implementation.
- Solid understanding of account management and reconciliation principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time-management capabilities.
- High level of attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote capacity as well as collaboratively.
- Friendly, professional, and proactive workplace approach.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience using dedicated accounting software platforms.
- AI implementation.
