Job Title: Guest Activity Coordinator Start Date: 2026-08-28 - 2026-09-30 Vacancy Type: Permanent WDH002530 Sectors: Front of House Location: Western Cape , Simon's Town Salary: R15,000 Brief: cape town|guest activities coordinator|simon's town|tour guide A pair of boutique coastal retreats in the Cape Peninsula is seeking a knowledgeable and well-presented GUEST ACTIVITY COORDINATOR to join their team Detail: This newly created role is essentially that of a driving tour guide and guest host, responsible for coordinating excursions and transfers across two sister properties. It's a hands-on, front-facing position best suited to someone deeply familiar with the Cape's attractions who takes full ownership of the guest experience once they step off-property. Core Criteria: Valid driver's licence and PDP (Professional Driving Permit) essential Advanced driving qualification advantageous Previous experience hosting or guiding guests on excursions Excellent, up-to-date knowledge of Cape Town and Cape Peninsula attractions, including wine farms, tourist landmarks and points of interest Local to the area, with strong familiarity of both property locations Well-presented, well-spoken and professional in manner Strong communication skills, able to engage confidently with guests across all demographics Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage responsibilities without supervision Comfortable working across two properties and coordinating between them Core Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all guest excursions and transfers between the two properties Host and accompany guests on outings, tours, and activities across the Cape Take full ownership of the guest experience whenever guests are off-property Liaise proactively between both properties to plan and schedule excursions Provide expert local insight and tailored recommendations on attractions, wine farms, and activities Anticipate guest and operational needs without requiring reminders Maintain vehicle standards and ensure safe, professional conduct during all transfers Represent both properties with consistency and professionalism at all times On Offer: Salary: R15kpm, DOE This is a live-out position show more...
