Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about stock accuracy? Do you thrive in a fast-paced retail or building materials environment where precision matters? If so, we want to hear from you. A reputable organization is looking for a reliable and diligent GRV Clerk to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring every delivery received is accurately checked, captured, and accounted for as well as play a critical role in protecting stock integrity and ensuring suppliers are paid only for goods that have actually been received. Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description: This position involves:
- Receiving and verifying supplier deliveries against purchase orders
- Inspecting goods for shortages, damages, quality issues, and discrepancies
- Capturing Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) accurately on IQ Retail
- Maintaining accurate receiving records and supporting stock control processes
- Managing supplier returns, credit notes, and discrepancy reporting
- Supporting stock counts and annual stock takes
- Ensuring the receiving area remains organised, secure, and compliant with company procedures
Skills & Experience
- 2 years' experience in receiving, warehousing, stock control, or inventory management
- Experience within building materials, hardware, retail, or wholesale environments (advantageous)
- Working knowledge of IQ Retail or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to confidently deal with suppliers and drivers
- Forklift licence (advantageous)
