Group Property Manager

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Property Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, or a related field. • Trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or Building) is highly advantageous. • Project Management qualification is advantageous. • Valid South African driver's licence (essential). Experience Required

• Minimum of 710 years' experience in property, facilities, or maintenance management. • At least 35 years' experience managing multiple hospitality properties, hotels, lodges, or resorts. • Proven experience overseeing preventative maintenance programmes and capital projects. • Strong background in building maintenance, infrastructure, and facilities management. • Experience managing maintenance teams and external contractors. • Demonstrated experience managing maintenance and CAPEX budgets. Knowledge & Skills

• Extensive knowledge of hotel, lodge, or resort maintenance operations. • Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, generators, water treatment plants, and building infrastructure. • Knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and asset management. • Excellent project management and contractor management skills. • Strong financial acumen with experience managing operational and capital budgets. • Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation, fire regulations, and building compliance requirements. • Strong leadership and people management skills. • Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities. • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management software (CMMS). • Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
