- Our client is looking for a Group Payroll Specialist to manage the monthly payroll process for approximately 180 UK-based employees across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role focused on accurate processing, UK payroll compliance, reconciliations and working with outsourced payroll bureaux.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly payroll cycle across multiple UK entities.
- Prepare and review payroll inputs and liaise with outsourced payroll bureaux.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
- Reconcile payroll costs and assist with month-end journals.
- Ensure compliance with UK PAYE, National Insurance and pension requirements.
- Support payroll controls, reporting and audits.
Requirements
- UK payroll processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and pension auto-enrolment.
- Experience with outsourced payroll bureaux.
- Multi-entity payroll experience is advantageous.
- Good Excel and payroll systems experience.
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management skills.
