Graphic Design Intern

• Design and update packaging artwork, including bags, Alupacks and labels.
• Develop and edit brochures, documents and marketing materials.
• Create signage, branding and in-store displays.
• Design digital content, advertisements and digital display layouts.
• Prepare and format PowerPoint presentations.
• Ensure designs meet the brief, brand guidelines and required specifications.
• Finalise artwork and prepare print-ready files, including PDFs.
• Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to deliver design projects.
• Follow internal processes for quotations and order placements in collaboration with the procurement team.
• Assist with revisions, artwork updates and the development of new creative materials.

Requirements

• A relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Certificates or training in Adobe Creative Cloud programmes.
• Some practical experience in graphic design, whether through previous employment, freelance projects or an internship.
• Proficiency in relevant design software, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud.
• A portfolio showcasing previous design work.

Skills and Competencies

• Good understanding of graphic design principles, layout and visual communication.
• Ability to interpret a brief and translate it into effective designs.
• Knowledge of artwork finalisation and preparing files for print and digital use.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for design consistency.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to take feedback, make revisions and manage multiple tasks.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with different teams.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative and develop new skills.
