Duties & Responsibilities
Senwes Grainlink is seeking a skilled professional for the role of Grain Market Analyst to collect, analyse, interpret, and communicate credible grain market intelligence to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse, and report on crop estimates and market information.
- Provide continuous feedback to relevant parties in terms of mandate.
- Execute hedging strategies and high-probability trades.
- Gather and interpret market intelligence data using databases.
- Assist with stock and position management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Economics (BCom), Agricultural Economics (BSc Agric), Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in commodity trading, market analysis, and/or risk management.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the agricultural sector will be advantageous.
