Duties & Responsibilities

Senwes Grainlink is seeking a skilled professional for the role of Grain Market Analyst to collect, analyse, interpret, and communicate credible grain market intelligence to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, and report on crop estimates and market information.

• Provide continuous feedback to relevant parties in terms of mandate.

• Execute hedging strategies and high-probability trades.

• Gather and interpret market intelligence data using databases.

• Assist with stock and position management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Economics (BCom), Agricultural Economics (BSc Agric), Finance, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in commodity trading, market analysis, and/or risk management.

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in the agricultural sector will be advantageous.
