Minimum requirements
Matric
Relevant Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Agriculture
5 years of management experience
10 years of experience in the grain industry would be an advantage
SAFEX trading certificate would be an advantage
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
Skills required
Sound understanding and knowledge of grain trading and the functioning of futures markets
Analysis of management statements
Negotiation skills
Good computer skills
Strong analytical and numerical insight
Business acumen
Good interpersonal skills
Good communication skills - verbal and written
Margin management
Budget management
Duties and responsibilities
Strategic management of the company’s grain division
Management of finances, customer service, personnel, and market share
Overall management of grain handling and marketing processes
Remuneration
R 100 000 Cost to company, depending on experience
Work hours
Monday – Friday: 07h30 – 17h00
Saturdays: 08h00 – 12h00
