Strong academic performance, particularly in quantitative, economic, agricultural or financial subjects. Computer literacy with practical proficiency in Microsoft Excel A valid driver's licence, or the ability to obtain one before commencement of the programme Advantageous The following will be considered and advantage: Exposure to grain production, agricultural markets, commodity trading, grain logistics or silo operations Completion of the Agricultural Products Markets Dealers Exam, or short-course exposure to JSE agricultural derivatives Futures and options Hedging Price-risk management Vacation work, internship, job shadowing or other practical agricultural experience Postgraduate studies in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Finance or Risk Management What we are looking for We are looking for graduates who are: Analytical and comfortable working with numbers and data. Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in agricultural markets. Curious, eager to learn and willing to gain hands-on experience. Strong communicators with good problem-solving skills. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Passionate about developing a career within the grain and agricultural industry.
