We are looking for SQL candidates to join the team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and share their knowledge and will be capable of working alone with limited supervision, or within a self-managing team. The role will entail client interaction so candidates should have strong communication and customer engagement skills.

Are you passionate about SQL? Have you completed your Degree or busy completing your degree in IT / Computer Science? OR have you completed any SQL certifications?

Duties & Responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF JOB

• Support the current platform in terms of features and enhancements from clients

Examples would include

• Creating reports

• Changes to existing products and creating new products

• Support the day-to-day functioning and operability of the current platform

Examples would include

• Investigations into incidents or bugs (e.g. reports that are functioning incorrectly)

• Designing and implementing solutions for client requirements

• Delivering on requirements on-time and to specification with high level of quality

• Defining user test plan for solutions which are implemented

• Create documentation

Desired Experience & Qualification

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Grade 12

• Busy completing or completed a degree in IT or Computer Science

• Must be passionate about SQL

• Microsoft Certification will be an advantage

Keen interest to work with the following technology and tools

• MS SQL server 2012+

• SSRS

• SSIS

• API

• Swagger

• PowerBI

• MS SQL, T-SQL, or similarly structured query languages (e.g., Azure SQL, PostgreSQL)

• C#

• MS Excel

Introductory training

Jira / Time logging System usage

Shadow of Team Leader for a month

C# scripting / AS reports/ Schedules New and old mechanism
