We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Graduate or Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team within the construction and property development environment.
This opportunity is open to recent Quantity Surveying graduates as well as Junior Quantity Surveyors with 2–3 years of relevant experience .
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of project budgets and cost estimates .
- Conduct quantity measurements and assist with the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) .
- Assist with tender documentation and procurement processes .
- Obtain, compare, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations .
- Assist with the preparation of payment certificates and monthly valuations .
- Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets.
- Assist with the preparation and management of variation orders .
- Track project costs and identify potential cost overruns or budget variances .
- Assist with subcontractor and supplier management.
- Maintain accurate project cost records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with monthly cost reports and financial reporting .
- Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress where required.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Support Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers with day-to-day commercial and cost management activities .
- Assist with final accounts, reconciliations, and project close-out processes.
- Ensure all quantity surveying and project documentation is accurate and up to date.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Graduate Candidates
- Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying .
- Newly qualified graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel .
- Strong willingness to learn and develop within the construction environment.
Junior Candidates
- Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying .
- 2–3 years' relevant Quantity Surveying experience .
- Experience within construction, property development, or a related environment will be advantageous.
- Practical exposure to measurements, valuations, procurement, costing, and project administration.
