Experience
- 0–2 years' relevant experience ; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Internship, vacation work, graduate programmes or practical university laboratory experience will be advantageous.
- Exposure to a food manufacturing, laboratory, quality assurance, research and development or production environment will be beneficial.
- Experience with laboratory testing, sample preparation, data recording or product development will be an advantage.
Qualifications
- BSc/BSc Honours in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or a related field.
- Alternatively, a relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma or BTech in Food Technology may be considered.
- A strong academic background in food science, microbiology, biotechnology, chemistry or related disciplines will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP/GHP and food safety principles will be an advantage.
