Technical Sales & Business Development – Approximately 80%
- Conduct canvassing and cold calling to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Generate and qualify prospective sales leads within the relevant market.
- Conduct regular client and prospective client site visits.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research, analysis, and customer segmentation to identify potential opportunities.
- Understand client requirements and assist in identifying suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and supporting sales documentation.
- Conduct outbound sales activities and participate in negotiations with prospective clients.
- Follow up on quotations, proposals, and potential business opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity.
Engineering & Project Support – Approximately 20%
• Assist with the development of technical and engineering solutions based on client requirements. • Support application engineering activities, including technical calculations and solution selection. • Assist senior engineers with technical drawings, design work, and engineering analysis. • Participate in project planning, coordination, implementation, and progress tracking. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting under supervision. • Assist with project management activities from solution development through to implementation. • Conduct technical research, data analysis, and reporting where required. • Ensure work is conducted in accordance with relevant safety regulations and quality standards. • Participate in mentorship, technical training, and continuous professional development. Requirements
- Recently completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Engineering) or Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc (Eng)
- Certificate, short course, or completed coursework in Project Planning / Project Management .
- MS Office proficiency
- Valid driver's license is essential
- Basic knowledge of engineering design software ( AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or similar – advantageous)
- Willingness to travel or work on-site if required.
