Graduate Bulk Materials Handling Engineer

East Rand, Gauteng

You do. Our client is looking for a Graduate Bulk Materials Handling Engineer to join their engineering team on the East Rand. This opportunity is designed for final-year Mechanical Engineering students and recent graduates who want to build a career in heavy industry, mining, materials handling, and large-scale engineering projects. Duties & Responsibilities

What You'll Learn

  • The design of conveyor systems, chutes, hoppers, feeders, and other bulk materials handling equipment.
  • How large mining and industrial facilities move, store, and process materials efficiently.
  • Engineering design principles used in real-world projects.
  • Project engineering and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Equipment selection, technical calculations, and engineering documentation.
  • Site-based problem solving and practical engineering applications.

What We're Looking For

  • BEng, BSc, or BTech Mechanical Engineering.
  • Recent graduates or students completing their studies this year.
  • Strong academic foundation in engineering principles.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
  • A proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for engineering and industrial projects.
