Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Roodepoort , is looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Accountant to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate who is looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in an operational manufacturing environment and build a long-term career in industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting functions
- Process and reconcile accounting transactions
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Process journals and assist with month-end procedures
- Assist with the preparation of management reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist with analysing financial information and variances
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with stock and inventory-related accounting
- Provide support to the Financial Accountant and Finance Manage
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BCom Accounting, BCom Financial Management, or a related accounting/finance qualification
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Computer literate with good Excel skills
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Package & Remuneration
R20 000 CTC to R25 000 CTC per month based on experience and qualifications
