- The Grade B Inspector NDC Metro is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all assigned security sites.
- The role is responsible for ensuring adequate site coverage, efficient deployment of personnel, conducting regular site inspections, identifying compliance risks, responding to incidents and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The Grade B Inspector will also be responsible for maintaining professional client relationships and supporting the effective management of security personnel.
- The Grade B Inspector will report directly to the Key Accounts Manager.

Qualifications
- PSIRA Grade B certification.
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate. · Valid Code 08 or Code 10 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Firearm competency Handgun and Shotgun.
- Minimum 2 years' continuous driving experience.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 3–5 years' experience in a supervisory or inspection role.
- 3–5 years' experience within the security industry.
- Proven experience in conducting site inspections and monitoring operational compliance.
- Experience in managing and supervising security personnel.
- Experience in responding to site incidents and providing accurate feedback.
- Experience in maintaining professional client relationships and delivering high service standards.
- Proficient in report writing and maintaining accurate records.
- Experience with the Chase system will be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to exercise discretion.
- Strong people management and supervisory abilities.
- High level of client service orientation.
- Commitment to quality standards and operational excellence.
- Physically fit and able to perform duties on-site.
What you will be doing
- Enforce and adhere to the Company's Disciplinary Code of Conduct, policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Ensure that all assigned sites have adequate security personnel coverage.
- Ensure the efficient deployment of security officers' personnel according to operational requirements.
- Conduct daily site inspections and ensure that relevant entries are accurately captured on the Chase system.
- Identify and report site irregularities promptly to the relevant stakeholders.
- Respond to incidents on sites and provide appropriate feedback to the Control Room, Compliance Officer and Key Accounts Manager.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with company procedures, operational requirements and service standards.
- Identify compliance risks and conduct preliminary investigations into incidents where required.
- Assist with on-site training to ensure that security personnel understand and comply with operational requirements.
- Monitor and manage staff performance, including security personnel.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and uphold high standards of client service.
- Ensure that operational issues identified during site inspections are addressed promptly and escalated where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation relating to site inspections, incidents and operational activities.
- Support the effective operation of all assigned security sites.
- Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the applicable Site Job Description.
- Enforce and adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct, policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Maintain professional communication when interacting with employees, clients and other stakeholders.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as required in support of effective site operations.
