Our client is seeking an experienced Geometric Roads Engineer to join its Roads Department in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geometric road design projects from concept through to completion.
- Prepare and review geometric road designs using Civil 3D.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure designs comply with SANRAL standards and relevant engineering guidelines.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Review technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff.
- Contribute to project planning, quality assurance, and programme management.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related qualification.
- Experience in geometric road design.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D modelling.
- Previous experience working on SANRAL projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and manage project delivery.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of South African road design standards and best practices.
