General Workers - Ottery

About the role Reporting to the Production Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacturing of pool covers, and specialised covers and liners and other general production duties. Duties & Responsibilities

• Make sure that the work orders on the plan are done.
• Achieve required throughout product.
• Making sure that products are produced on time, in full and are of good quality.
• Have processes in place to ensure the integrity of all stitching and welds, measurements and product specification criteria on all products through the production process.
• Work smart and think about your workflow and process through the factory to provide a cost-effective process.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Constantly improve your work area with best practices.
• Meet the Customer service level agreements and hold others in your team responsible for this too.
• Minimize wastage by thinking about pull offs and how you use raw material more effectively.
• Care for and make sure area’s tools and equipment have owners/homes and are well cared for and maintained.
• Adhere to standard operating procedure for areas production operations.
• Ensure complete compliance to prescribed Quality Management System (QMS0

Desired Experience & Qualification

About you

• National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
• 1-2 Years experience in a similar role
• Working experience in a manufacturing environment
• High level energy and ability to work overtime as and when required
• Punctuality
