Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Worker to join their warehouse packaging team in Durban. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced warehouse and packaging environment, assisting with production, packing, stock handling, and general operational duties while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with general warehouse and packaging duties.
- Pack products accurately according to company standards.
- Load, unload, and move stock, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Prepare products for dispatch and assist with order packing.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with stock movement and warehouse housekeeping.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Support the production and packaging teams with daily operational requirements.
- Perform any other general duties as reasonably assigned.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Previous experience in a warehouse, packaging, manufacturing, or production environment will be advantageous.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality and safety standards.
- Grade 12 (Matric) will be advantageous.
