General Worker – Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities: Stock Management & Merchandising

• Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure products are available and displayed correctly. • Monitor shelves and product areas to identify low stock levels and replenish products when required. • Ensure electrical products are neatly arranged, labelled, and easily accessible to customers. • Assist with maintaining an organised and visually appealing sales floor. Customer Service & Product Support

• Assist walk-in customers with product queries and provide professional customer service. • Offer guidance and recommend suitable electrical products based on customer requirements. • Suggest alternative products and solutions where applicable. • Ensure customers receive a positive shopping experience. Store Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the assigned work area.
• Ensure product displays and surrounding areas are kept neat and presentable.
• Assist with general duties within the store as required.

Minimum Requirements: Qualifications:

• Matric / Grade 12 is essential. Experience & Knowledge:

• Previous retail, merchandising, sales, or general worker experience will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical components and hardware products is essential.
• Experience with fast-moving electrical goods within a retail environment will be advantageous.
• Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
