• Cavalier Group is seeking a suitably qualified candidate for the position of General Worker (Fixed term contract).

Duties & Responsibilities

1.  Job Purpose

Perform all Abattoir General Worker actions according to the abattoirs procedures and standards.

2.  Reporting to

Manager: Williston Abattoir

3.  Output

Production

• General worker duties as required.

• Working knowledge of Quality Assurance requirements.

• Working knowledge of Product Standards requirements.

SHEQ

• Ensure acceptable personal hygiene at all times.

• Manage correct use of PPE at all times.

• Process and product hygiene standards maintained at all times.

• All duties are performed according to the abattoirs OHS guidelines and procedures.

4.  Working days and hours

• Will be contacted on short notice and scheduled as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Qualification details

• Grade 10 is required

• Grade 12 is preferred

• Must live and/or stay in Williston, Northern Cape Province (must be willing to relocate).

• Clean criminal record.

• Medically fit.

Package & Remuneration

R 30.23 per hour and only compensated for the hours worked per month.
