Introduction

Area of specialization: To provide strategic leadership and management of the Treasury and Strategic Finance function for NTCSA, ensuring effective liquidity and cash management, securing sustainable and competitive funding, optimising capital structure and investment decisions, and managing financial risks to strengthen financial resilience, enable the organisation’s strategic and infrastructure investment requirements, and support sustainable long-term value creation. Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualification(s)

• NQF Level 8 qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Treasury, Investment Management or a related discipline. • A recognised professional designation such as CFA, CA(SA), ACT/treasury qualification, CIMA or equivalent will be advantageous. Experience

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in treasury, funding, capital markets, strategic finance or financial risk management within a large and complex organisation, of which at least 5 years should be at senior management or executive leadership level. • Demonstrated experience in material debt/infrastructure funding transactions, lender and investor engagement, liquidity and capital structure management is required. • Experience in energy, infrastructure, regulated, state-owned or other capital-intensive environments will be advantageous. • Registration or professional standing with CFA Institute and/or another recognised professional body relevant to treasury, investment, finance, accounting or management accounting, where applicable.
